The race for the 2001 North Central Connecticut Conference (NCCC) championship in boys soccer went to the final day of the regular season. Granby claimed the title with a 2-0 win over Canton while defending league and Class M champion Avon was upset by Windsor Locks (8-7-1), denying the Falcons a shot at its third straight league title.
